Zine, Photography
2023
A visual study of New York’s typographic language captured through photography. The zine reflects how every neighborhood holds its own set of “glyphs”—letters, signage, and forms that collectively shape the city’s visual identity.
PROCESS
Each week’s photos were curated into themes, highlighting how typography varies by environment. The zine layout plays with scale, rhythm, and placement to evoke the feeling of walking through the city, stopping, scanning, and discovering type in unexpected places.
