GOOD/BAD HISTORY2024
A 4-page editorial spread exploring critical issues in graphic design history. The layout integrates structured text blocks to guide readers through extensive endnotes, while collage imagery and textured pull quotes create a cohesive visual language. The challenge was distilling 5,000 words and numerous footnotes into a compelling, tabloid-sized format.


I highlighted the numbers with colored boxes to create a clear visual hierarchy, making it easier for readers to locate references at a glance. Instead of placing the footnotes at the back, I positioned them beside the corresponding paragraphs, activating the margins as an integral part of the reading flow. This approach enhances accessibility and transforms the traditionally overlooked margins into a functional design element.
